Commanders! This month we've been working hard to hold a Winter Cup and present to you new ranked mode and here is our short list of most important changes:

General Changes

  • Ranked Mode Implemented.
  • PvP Conquest no longer has an influence on your ladder position.
  • We added numbers flying from your ship on damage or regen and an option to switch it on and off.
  • Cluster Missile module removed from the game.

Bug fixes and other improvements:

  • Boarding module reworked.
  • Now pirates won't try to always escape you and will move directly to your location at the start of the battle.
  • Pirates no longer will ignore damage if they don't see the attacker.
  • Pirates spawn rules on Galaxy Map and maximum numbers were changed.
  • If you attack a Pirate Station, nearby pirates will receive a signal and come to defend it.
  • EMP radius and damage decreased: 2000 dmg -> 1000 dmg.
  • Shield Overload now protects your ships more effective.
  • Repair Complex - Required Capacity increased from 220 -> 800.
  • All mines planting radius reduced by 50%. Mines now explode only if a ship is moving through it with speed more than 50 m/s.
  • AMS system fixed to work against mines and boarding modules.
  • Layouts and characteristics (capacity in particular) were changed for many ships to improve balance.
  • Protonic torpedoe renamed to Nuclear torpedoe
  • and a lot of other minor changes and bug fixes.

Please note, that most requirements related to IGC, reputation and experience points have been lowered specifically for pre-alpha tests. All previous progress, except for Houses created, was fully wiped to escape possible problems and let newcomers start in equal conditions with other players. House creation will not require any specific reputation level and will be available for free on any faction Mothership. Number of captured Key Positions (instances) required to destroy an enemy structure will be lowered to 2 for Supply Station, 4 for Outpost, 6 for Mothership. Ships Progression and detachment bonuses are still not available during this test.
